Holi daze
It seems to be harder to remain organized during the holiday breaks. I like to keep a schedule and organize accordingly but this break has been tough. I have had a lot on my plate these last few weeks besides school! I am going to try harder next semester to stick to my task list and work as I go and not put off work until a later day. Anyone have suggestions for keeping up with school during the holdiays??

Nursing School
This will be my last semester at Kaplan so I can enter nursing school next semester. I have been looking forward to getting into the clinical side of my learning experience! Kaplan has been a great experience for me...especially since this is my first time taking online classes. I want to finish nursing school as soon as possible so that I can get experience in the ER setting. The ER experience is important to me because it will help prepare for my ultimate goal of becoming an ER physician.

6 weeks in 4 to GO!!
So here we are in week 6. I am starting to like the 10 week program here at Kaplan. Over the last 6 weeks I have made some moves to enroll at another school. The reason is to reach my long term goals I have to get into the class room setting so I can take labs, meet with instructors, etc.
I applied to nursing school in Orlando. The program is an ASN and not an RN. The reason I am going this way is to get a chance to work in the ER as soon as possible. I want to spend a year, at least, working in the ER before I begin medical school which is my end game.
I hope to be able to dual enroll but we'll have to see. I really hope it all works out. I need a bachelors to even apply to med school.
